Luna Solaqua does not have self service laundry service, however, about 500 meters from Luna Solaqua, there is a self service laundry (Lavomatique), open everyday from 8am-8pm.
On arrival in Portugal, stay 1-2 night in Lisbon. Before heading to the Algarve for 21 nights, enjoy a city tour of Lisbon. After your stay in the Algarve, head back to Lisbon for 1-2 night before heading back to Canada.
The tour will start with a visit to the most historical parts of Lisbon: Edward 7th Park, Liberty Avenue, Rossio Square and a walk to discover the real Lisbon lifestyle, history and culture. Proceed to the Blackhorse Square Quarter of Belem, from which the Portuguese Caravels sailed off to the epic maritime discoveries. Once at Belem, we will pass by The Jerónimos Monastery and the Tower of Belem (entrance fees not included) whose origins date back to the 16th Century, both considered as World Heritage, and represent the most luxurious and prestigious times of the Portuguese Monarchy.
Transfer to Algarve for your 20 night stay & then on the return spend 1 more night in Lisbon before your flight home.

Visit to Silves and Monchique encompasses history, culture and breathtaking landscapes. Silves, the first Arab capital of the Kingdom of the Algarve, you will have free time to visit Silves Castle and Silves Cathedral, both built with the red stone indigenous to this area. If you only have time for one tour,then this one has it all. In Silves, the former Moorish capital, you can visit the oldest part of the city where the largest castle in the Algarve and the oldest Cathedral are located. Climb the Serra de Monchique to Fóia, visiting the highest point of the Algarve, with time for spectacular photos. On your way down, we will make a stop for lunch (not included in the tour). In the afternoon we will visit Lagos, where sightseeing includes the former slave market dating back to the 16th century, the golden church of Santo António, the fortress and the old town. The tour continues to Cape St. Vicente, the most south-western point of Europe, once known as “the End of the World”. Landmarks include the great lighthouse, the great fishing port of Baleeira, and
the fortress of Sagres, formerly home to School of Navigation founded by Infante D. Henrique, better

Porches is renowned for its beautiful and original pottery. The Porches Pottery is one of the best representatives of this art and many of the traditional methods of production are still used here today. You can see the pottery being made and painted by hand by the artisans. The fishing village of Benagil is perched above the Atlantic and a tiny but picturesque beach, the sound of the Atlantic the uninterrupted sound track to the village’s activities. Heading towards the resort of Carvoeiro we visit Algar Seco where you can see the amazing caves and grottoes carved from the coastline over the centuries. Enjoy a stroll through the village of Ferragudo, along the cobbled streets and down to the small harbour where you can look across the mouth of the River Arade towards Praia da Rocha. Our last stop is in a winery where you can enjoy a guided tour and also sample some of the wines produced in this region.

We start with a visit to Faro, the capital of the province of Algarve and a tour of 13th century city centre. We proceed to the originally Moorish city of Olhão, an important fishing town, and its well-known local market. We continue to the historic town of Tavira, with its Roman bridge, typical cobbled streets, its many churches. You will have the chance to visit the old castle, which has a high observation point ideally suited to taking in the best views of the city and taking fantastic pictures. Free time for lunch (not included). The tour’s last stop is a visit to the fabulous village of Cacela Velha where the Ria Formosa meets the Atlantic Ocean.
