Every aspect of the golf program is fully managed by PerryGolf staff onboard and ashore. Your clubs will be ready and waiting at each venue. Tee times and pairings arranged and posted in advance. A convenient transportation schedule affords suitable time to warm up at the range, and to make the almost inevitable pro shop merchandise purchase. Carts are always included, subject to availability. A friendly competition is staged at a selected course, with prizes awarded at our farewell gathering. A snack lunch is included on-course plus an open bar operates in the clubhouse at the conclusion of the round. Our typical guest list which brings together like-minded individuals generally numbers between 40 and 50, with new friendships invariably formed during each cruise. Many guests are golfing couples but an equal number are golfers travelling with a non-golfing spouse. Specially arranged onboard golf group social functions, to which all accompanying non-golfing spouses are most warmly welcomed, further enhances the club-like environment. Golf Handicap Limit: The golf courses we play around the world offer varying challenges. Players often require to be of a certain standard to properly and fully experience them in the company of likeminded fellow golfers. We therefore set a maximum permitted golf handicap to participate on our tours and cruises; The maximums are 28 for men and 36 for ladies.

Golf Courses: The included list may be subject to change in the event of any club accepting any conflicting national or international event, or for any other reason. Should such a situation occur, PerryGolf will endeavour to book a course of comparable standard, and all booked guests would be notified of the change and replacement venue at the earliest opportunity.

GOLF: Saadiyat Beach Golf Club boasts the first oceanfront course of the Arabian Peninsula. Designed by Gary Player it is located on Saadiyat Island and set along an azure coastline. The imaginative golf course routing provides a spectacular variety of golf experiences with every hole having its own unique character. From the creation of an aquatic habitat, to the introduction of salt-water lagoons, restoration of the beach and sand dunes, the course has been designed with strict environmentally friendly guidelines and a true sensitivity to the surrounding natural environment.

GOLF: Yas Links was designed by renowned course designer Kyle Phillips. Built on Yas Island, the course was almost 3 years in construction and used 2 million cubic metres of dredged sand to cap the land. Despite its relatively young age, Yas Links is proving to be one of the best courses in the region. Situated just across the highway from the Yas Marina Formula 1 track, the course utilizes the natural surroundings and weather conditions to create a truly wonderful links test that will excite all levels of golfers.

NOVEMBER 18, MONDAY: DOHA, QATAR (8:00AM / IN PORT)
GOLF: Education City Golf Club is a landmark project for Qatar and a 2020 European Tour venue. It comprises 33 holes – an 18-hole championship layout along with a 9-hole and a 6-hole layout all designed by Jose Maria Olazábal with the goal of growing the game. The course was designed and constructed in line with full USGA standards. Olazábal led the first few holes to an ancient wadi (riverbed) wall, allowing its charm and beauty to set the tone for your whole round as it continues its route through the desert. He says, “Along several holes on both the front and back nine, we continue the reoccurring riverbed feature which, on occasion, comes strategically into play.

GOLF: Emirates Golf Club, Majlis Course is annual home to the European Tour’s Dubai Desert Classic, and enjoys a worthy reputation worldwide as an excellent layout. The course features hundreds of indigenous species of flora and fauna, beautifully complemented by meandering fairways and seven fresh and saltwater lakes. The Majlis which was the first grass course in the Middle East takes its name from the Arabic word for ‘meeting place’. One of the most prominent features on the course is the Majlis building itself positioned between the 8th and 9th holes and a Dubai landmark since 1988.
