Day 1 – Hometown to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon, Vietnam) (via Shanghai)

Day 2 – Arrived Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon, Vietnam)
Cross the International Date Line and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), formerly known as Saigon, the largest city of Vietnam. Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your local guide will greet and welcome you before heading off for the hotel.

Day 3 – Ho Chi Minh City ~ Cu Chi Tunnel ~ Ho Chi Minh City

Day 4 – Ho Chi Minh City ~ Mytho (Mekong Delta) ~ Ho Chi Minh City  
This morning you will visit the Thien Hau Pagoda. Then drive to My Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta, famous for its vast rivers, rice fields and beautiful landscapes. Sail on Mekong River to Phoenix Island where local handicrafts and sweets from coconut are produced.  Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and Traditional Music and Song Performance. Ride on a Horse Carriage to a typical local house for a taste of homemade honey-tea. Hop on a rowing boat and sail through small canals and side-arms of the river to observe the daily life along the river banks.  Stop by for a leisure walk on the Turtle Island.  Special Fish Lunch to be served today. Take a ride back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.  (B/SL/D)

Day 5 – Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) / Hanoi (By Air)
After breakfast, tour Saigon River, the Opera House, the Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace and War  Museum. After Lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Transfer to the hotel and have  dinner on your own.  (B/L)

Day 6 – Hanoi
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Literature and Ho Chi Minh Complex. Then, enjoy a cooking class. After Lunch, go on a city tour to the Hilton Prison, Hoa Lo Museum, Hanoi Opera House and a Rickshaw tour around Old Quarter. Stop at Pho Co café for a drink and take photos at this local family house (an overview of Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter from the rooftop of the house). Day 7 – Hanoi ~ Halong Bay
This morning, drive to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty, more than 1,500 limestone islets rising from the sea and beautiful grottoes. Upon arrival board the cruise boat, you will enjoy a welcome drink and then lunch. Cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay, explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave, Hon Co Island, return to the boat. Day 8 – Halong Bay ~ Hanoi

Day 9 – Hanoi / Bangkok (Thailand) (By Air) – Pattaya
After breakfast, transfer to the Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport for flight to Bangkok. We will have lunch upon arrival. We will visit Wat Phar Yai Temple and then drive the resort city of Pattaya. At night enjoy a Thai Seafood Dinner. (B/L/SD)

Dey 10 – Pattaya
After breakfast, we will explore Pattaya’s cultural village – Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and then a traditional Thai dancing performance and sword fighting as well as an elephant show. A buffet lunch will be served in the garden. After lunch, we will go back to the hotel for free time. Enjoy a swim at the pool or time exploring. Tonight dinner will be be a traditional Thai meal. Then we will go for a walk to the famous Pattaya Walking Street. This neon drenched strip in south Pattaya offers bars and street vendors.

Day 11 – Pattaya – Bangkok
After breakfast we will travel back to Bangkok. After lunch, you will visit the Grand Palace, one of the most important landmarks in Bangkok. This palace was built in 1782. Explore the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, Thailand’s most sacred temple with the revered Emerald Buddha. Tonight, enjoy a special Thai dinner that includes a cultural performance.  (B/L/SD)

Day 12 – Bangkok
After breakfast we will travel to the Ratchaburi Province in western Thailand, so we visit the world-famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. This is the most popular floating market in Thailand and a  great place for photo opportunities, and for giving you an insight into a bygone way of life and the  traditional way of selling and buying local foods, fruits and products . After lunch enjoy an afternoon at the bustling Maeklong Railway Market. This is a market in Thailand that definitely stands out because of the  active train that constantly runs through the middle of it! A walk through the market will be full of activities in a tight space where shoppers move along at a slow pace eyeing out all the fresh goods available for purchase. And to end the day we will visit the Golden Buddha Temple (Wat Traimit).  Then we are going to head back  to the hotel.  In the evening we will take you for a Night Tour of the Asiatique Night Market.  Dinner on your own. Day 13 – Bangkok ~ Ayutthaya ~ Bangkok
Today, full day tour to the fascinating Ayutthaya, the UNESCO-listed ancient capital of Thailand (Siam). You will explore the temples, stone ruins, and Buddha statues in this old capital of Thailand. A Buffet style lunch will be served. On the way back, visit a Jewelry workshop and back to the hotel. Tonight, enjoy a Farewell Dinner. (B/SL/SD)

Day 15 – Siem Reap ~ Angkor Wat ~ Wat Thmey (Killing Field)
Our day will start with a visit to a world’s famous temple complex in Cambodia known as Angkor Wat (7th Wonder of the World). This is the largest religious monument in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares. Angkor was the capital of Khmer that existed from 802 to 1431. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be a prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks – the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. After lunch we will visit Wat Thmey (Killing Fields). This is an area that served as one of the killing fields during the Khmer Rouge regime in the country. The Khmer Rouge was Cambodia’s ruling party from 1975 to 1979 and was responsible for one of the worst mass killings during the 20th Century under the leadership of Pol Pot. Once here you will be able to see a memorial to remember those who were killed at the hands of the Khmer Rouge and that sacrificed their lives for their country. In the afternoon, we will go to The Artisan D’Angkorart school to learn about locally made arts and crafts, and at the end of the day we will explore the T-Galleria by DFS, the largest duty free luxury department store in Cambodia, offering travelers an integrated retail, hospitality and leisure experience. It features prestigious international fashion and accessories, watches and jewellery, wines and spirits, and brand names beauty products and fragrances. Dinner on your own. (B / L)

Day 16 – Siem Reap ~ Angkor Wat
Our day will begin with a tour of the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire, Angkor Thom. Angkor is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Stretching over some 400 kms, including forested area it contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th tothe 15th century. They include the famous Temple of Angkor Wat, theBayon Temple, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Ta Prohm Temples. In the afternoon, we will go to The Artisan D’Angkor art school to learn about locally made arts and crafts. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner at your hotel. (B / L / SD)

Day 17 – Siem Reap (Free Day) / Hometown
Enjoy the day at your leisure. Explore or relax at the hotel (a late check out has been arranged ). Take the late evening China Eastern Flight to Canada (via Shanghai). Arrive home on Day 18. ( B )
