Day 1: Depart Canada
Fly to Sydney
Day 2: Arrive Sydney
Upon arrival to Sydney, take your private transfer to your hotel and check in, where you will spend the next four nights.
Spend the day at leisure exploring the city and its laid-back outdoor lifestyle, stunning views, colonial architecture, restaurants and bars.
Day 3: Sydney Excursion – Panoramic city tour & cruise (L)
Take a half-day panoramic Sydney city sights tour to the historic Rocks area and learn about Australia’s early convict history, then see the Central Business District (CBD) and Macquarie Street for magnificent views of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
The tour takes you through Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, home to the rich and famous. Travelling along the coves and shores of one of the worlds most impressive harbours, you will pass through areas such as Kings Cross, Double Bay, and Rose Bay before arriving at Watsons Bay. You’ll also travel to the famous Bondi Beach for a 30-minute stop to dip your toes in the sand.
The city tour will end at Darling Harbour, where you will embark on a 3-hour cruise with lunch and live commentary.
Day 4: Sydney at Leisure
Take your time exploring Sydney at your own pace on your last day.
Day 5: Sydney – Blue Mountain
Check out of your hotel and make your way to the car rental location for the drive to Blue Mountains. Enjoy mesmerizing views along the way.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel for two nights and explore at leisure.
Day 6: Blue Mountain
Spend the day at leisure in the fresh mountain air overlooking Sydney and enter the spectacular Blue Mountains region, perfect for exploring New South Wales.
Discover activities along the way, such as the Three Sisters walking trail to the Echo Point lookout, bushwalking, nearby galleries, local dining, shopping, day spas, golf courses, and numerous attractions. Blue Mountains is the ideal destination for a romantic getaway or family escape.
Day 7: Blue Mountains to Hunter Valley
Check out of your hotel and mark your route as you drive toward the wineries of Hunter Valley, which is north of Sydney and one of Australia’s major wine regions dating back to the early 1800s.
This region is well known for varietals such as Sémillon and Shiraz, plus numerous wineries that offer cellar door wine tastings and vineyard tours.
Check into your hotel and enjoy the valley scenery for the next two nights.
Day 8: Hunter Valley (L)
Have a picnic among the vines today as you enjoy a self-guided tour of the on-site museum, followed by a master class and premium tasting tour from our in-house wine expert.
At the Cellar Door winery, you will enjoy a picnic hamper including a variety of charcuterie foods to enjoy along with a bottle of handpicked wine and etched glassware to take with you.
Day 9: Hunter Valley – Port Stephens
Check out of your Hunter Valley hotel for your drive to Port Stephens, which is known for its 26 golden sandy beaches.
Adventure seekers can enjoy quad biking and sandboarding at Stockton Beach Sand Dunes or horseback riding through the bush or surf, from Anna Bay, Williamtown and Salt Ash.
Check into hotel for the next two nights of your journey.
Day 10: Port Stephens at leisure
Continue exploring the area at leisure.
Day 11: Port Stephens – Sydney
Once checked out, make your way back to Sydney, where you will spend your last night at an airport area hotel.
Day 12: Return to Canada
Return your rental car at the airport and board your flight back to Canada.
