Day 1: Canada – Night on board
Set off for your departure airport, ready to catch a flight* to the Czech Republic’s capital of Prague. Night on board.
*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.
Day 2: Prague
Arrive in Prague, known for its fairytale old town, lively nightlife and nicknamed the ‘City of a Hundred Spires’. Transfer to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day exploring at your leisure. Alternatively, you can take part in an unforgettable Black Light Theatre experience* where you will immerse yourself in a dazzling multi-sensorial performance based on audiovisual effects, dance and music. Overnight stay in Prague.
*Optional Entrance to the Black Light Theatre in Prague ($): Experience the ‘Best of the Black Theater’, a compilation of scenes and images from the most successful productions of the Black Theater in Prague over the last 30 years where you will relish a fascinating performance mixing audiovisual effects, dance and music.
Note: in order to assist the Black Light theater performance you must arrive in Prague before 4pm.
Day 3: Prague (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Set off on a city tour of Prague, nicknamed the ‘Golden City’. See the famous Powder Tower and explore the Old Town. Reach Old Town Square, home to the famous Astronomical Clock, one of the most popular sights in Prague, and the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn. Finish the tour at the iconic Charles Bridge. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure to explore the sights and sample the local cuisine at your own pace. Alternatively, enjoy a folklore-themed dinner* in a traditional Czech restaurant. Overnight stay in Prague.
*Optional Folklore Dinner ($): Enjoy dinner at a typical Czech restaurant which includes dance and live music performances, a truly unforgettable evening basking in Czech culture.
Day 4: Prague (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a day exploring Prague at your leisure. Get to know its atmospheric old town, people-watch from the cafe terraces or explore Prague’s various museums and art galleries. Alternatively, take part in an optional visit to the Castle of Prague,* the current home of the President of the Czech Republic. As another optional activity, enjoy a medieval-themed dinner at a traditional Czech restaurant.** Overnight stay in Prague.
*Optional Visit to the Castle of Prague ($): Visit the grounds of Prague Castle, where you will be able to see St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George’s Basilica, the Old Royal Palace and the Golden Lane before experiencing the beauty of the imposing Church of St. Nicholas and Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague (entrance fees included).
**Optional Medieval Dinner ($): Dive into the Middle Ages in this unique dinner experience complete with one-of-a-kind performances in an underground tavern in Prague. Not only will you be feasting as they would in Czech medieval times but you will also get to interact with jugglers, snake charmers, belly dancers and even fortune tellers as you enjoy your meal.
Day 5: Prague – Vienna (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, travel by bus through the beautiful landscapes of Bohemia and Moravia towards Austria and its capital, Vienna. Arrive in Vienna, an imperial city famed for its artistic legacy and for being the hometown of Mozart and Beethoven, and check-in at your hotel. Discover the ‘City of Dreams’ today on a Panoramic tour of Vienna. Take the Ringstrasse ring road to see some of the capital’s most important buildings including the State Opera House, the Museums of Art History and Natural History, the Museumquartier, the Imperial Palace (the former winter residence of the Emperor), the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The remainder of the day is free to enjoy Vienna at your leisure. Alternatively, you can opt to enjoy a classical music concert*, a must-do activity while in the city! Overnight stay in Vienna.

Day 6: Vienna – Bratislava (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will be making your way to the beautiful capital of Slovakia, Bratislava by bus. Discover this magical place in a city tour of Bratislava where you will get to familiarize yourself with all of its main attractions. Start with Michael’s Gate, one of the oldest buildings in the city and from here make your way to Universitas Istropolitana, the striking Gothic St Martin’s Cathedral, the Episcopal Summer Palace, the Main Square and, finally, the Slovak National Opera House. Later, check-in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at your leisure. Overnight stay in Bratislava.
Day 7: Bratislava – Budapest (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by bus to Budapest, Hungary. After enjoying the changing landscapes of the Danube Delta, arrive in Budapest. The city is famously divided in two by the River Danube, Buda and Pest, each with its own distinctive atmosphere.
Set off on an enthralling guided tour of Budapest, beginning with Heroes Square, the largest and most impressive in the city and an emblem of Pest’s Golden Era. Next, see the National Opera Theatre and the amazing Parliament building, a true icon of the city on the banks of the Danube. Continue the tour across the river, in the Castle District, where you can enjoy the sweeping views from Castle Hill and the amazing architecture of the Fisherman’s Bastion. Cross Margaret Bridge to visit the Király Baths before ending the tour at the oldest and most photographed bridge in the city, the glorious Chain Bridge. Overnight stay in Budapest.
Day 8: Budapest (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a day exploring Budapest at your leisure. Alternatively, take part in our optional Danube River cruise*. Overnight stay in Budapest.
*Optional Danube River Cruise from Budapest ($): Embark on a river cruise of the Danube and enjoy architectural views of the city from a different perspective. From the Parliament, to the many bridges and even the Royal Palace Walls, complete this romantic sail across the city with a glass of champagne.
Day 9: Budapest – Canada (B)
Breakfast* at the hotel. It’s time to bring your journey through Central Europe to an end. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for a flight back to Canada. Arrive in Canada and end your trip.
