Day 1: Canada – Night on board
Embark on an unforgettable adventure down under! Pack your bags and head to the departure airport*, where you’ll begin your journey with a flight to Auckland. Get ready for a night of excitement and anticipation as you soar towards your dream destination! Night on board.

*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.

Day 2: Continue your journey to Auckland
Continue your journey to Auckland. Due to the time difference, you will lose a day on your outward journey, but will gain it back on your return. You are not in-flight for two full days.

Day 3: Auckland
Arrival at Auckland International Airport. Once you’ve completed Customs and Immigration procedures, proceed to the Terminal exit to meet your Super Shuttle driver. You can contact them using the provided number for assistance. They will then transfer you to your hotel. Overnight stay in Auckland.
Please note: be aware that there won’t be a driver waiting for you inside the terminal upon arrival. Additionally, there may be stops along the way to drop off other passengers within the general route to the hotel.

Day 4: Auckland
Discover Auckland’s most famous landmarks at your own pace with our 24-hour hop-on-hop-off bus ticket! The tour offers informative commentary and excellent service, ensuring a memorable journey through the city’s highlights. The Red route, which takes about an hour to complete, offers a scenic tour of tree-lined streets, stunning beaches, and trendy shops. Don’t rush—hop off at any stop to explore the sights that catch your eye.
The tour operates daily, except on December 25th, from 9 am to 5 pm, with departures every 30 minutes until 4 pm. Please note that stops include Downtown Auckland, the Art Gallery, Queen Street, Newmarket shopping precinct, Holy Trinity Cathedral for Parnell Village, Bastion Point lookout, and SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s. Day 5: Auckland
Today, you have a free day to further explore the breathtaking natural beauty of Auckland, known as “The City of Sails.” You can explore the bustling streets of downtown, marvel at the views from the top of the Sky Tower, or if you prefer nature, discover the hidden waterfalls and lush landscapes of Waitakere Ranges Regional Park.
We highly recommend indulging in some incredible activities, such as visiting Waiheke Island* or exploring Auckland’s rugged West Coast**. Overnight stay in Auckland.

Sitting on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is set against the dramatic Southern Alps. This picturesque city is renowned for adventure sports, and it’s also a base for exploring the region’s vineyards and historic mining towns. Overnight stay in Queenstown.

Day 9: Queenstown
Discover the natural beauty of Milford Sound with a scenic coach ride from Queenstown and an unforgettable cruise on the fiord. Depart Queenstown, travel by coach past glacier lakes and into Fiordland National Park. Capture some memorable shots of Mirror Lakes, Homer Tunnel or the ancient alpine forests at photo stops along the way, as you catch sensational views of the Southern Alps.
Next, board your cruise in Milford Sound to explore the spectacular fiord. Venture out to the Tasman Sea while cruising past tumbling waterfalls, glacier-scarred rock walls and lush rainforests. Return to Queenstown by coach for your overnight stay.

Day 10: Queenstown
Today, you have a free day to explore Queenstown. Why not try something exhilarating like skydiving over breathtaking landscapes? For a more relaxed experience there are also numerous hiking trails, art galleries, and wine tasting tours to take part in.

Day 11: Queenstown – Sydney

Known for the sunny disposition of its locals and its urban beaches like Bond and Manly, there are plenty of sights to see. The stunning harbor provides a dramatic backdrop for the city’s famous icons, like the Sydney Opera House. Overnight stay in Sydney.

Day 12: Sydney
There’s no better way to discover the city than on foot, so begin the day with a walking tour of The Rocks district. Hear the city’s story as you stroll along the shoreline of sparkling Sydney Harbour with views of the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, past Campbell’s Cove and Cadman’s Cottage.
The Rocks is renowned for having the oldest streets in Sydney, which are dotted with beautifully restored nineteenth-century buildings. Day 14: Sydney – Cairns
Today, head to the airport to catch your internal flight to Cairns. Located in the far north of Queensland, Cairns is a tropical city and a center for tourism due to the region’s spectacular nature. The city offers easy access to the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, both UNESCO World Heritage sites.
After landing, self-transfer to the hotel and take the rest of the day to discover this exciting city independently. Swim at the Esplanade lagoon, sample local produce at a farmer’s market, shop for a summer wardrobe, or cruise around the marina. It’s up to you! Overnight stay in Cairns.

Day 15: Cairns
Today is your free day to experience the wonderful nature that the region offers. If you’re hoping to see one of Cairns’ most iconic sights, now is your chance–join our optional full day excursion to the Great Barrier Reef*!
Head back to the hotel and rest up before an included dinner at Ochre, a local restaurant offering Australian specialties on the boardwalk with beautiful views of the harbor. Overnight in Cairns.
Important note: The restaurant specializes in grilled Australian meats, which will be the centerpiece of the meal. Vegetarian guests are advised to let their guide know in advance so that sufficient options are made available.

*Optional Great Barrier Reef excursion: experience one of Australia’s most significant natural landmarks, visible from space and the single largest living structure of organisms on Earth. Spend the day out along the reef on an elevated platform that offers unparalleled views. Day 16: Cairns
Today, enjoy another day at your leisure to cross more fun activities off your list. If you’re most excited about seeing the Daintree Rainforest, sign up for our optional excursion led by an experienced guide* and see far more than a typical tourist. Return to the hotel in the afternoon and pack for tomorrow’s flight to Melbourne. Overnight in Cairns.

Ascend the Alexandra Range and pause for a panoramic view of the rainforest merging with the Coral Sea. Experience the rainforest up-close on the elevated National Park Boardwalk. Day 17: Cairns – Melbourne

Day 18: Melbourne
Today, experience a guided tour of the city. Be dazzled by the wondrous sights, its contrasts, world-famous sporting arenas, historic gardens, and learn about Melbourne’s fascinating history, explore its bustling art and cafe scene, as well as plenty of other cultural highlights with your expert guide.
You are once again free in the afternoon to explore Melbourne as you see fit. Overnight stay in Melbourne.

Day 19: Melbourne
Today is your final full day here, so be sure to take advantage! We recommend one of our optional activites on offer, both of which cater to those seeking one last look at the stunning Australian natural scenery.
Why not go on a coastal drive with the optional Ocean Road experience?* To get to know the local wildlife, head to Phillip Island** and see a koala reserve and penguin parade before heading back to the mainland. Return to the hotel in the evening and prepare for your flight back to Canada. Overnight in Melbourne.
