Day 1: Depart Canada
Fly with Air China to Beijing from Vancouver. Meet your Canadian Tour Leader and start your worry-free vacation.
Day 2: Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. Your local guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax or explore Beijing at your leisure.

Day 3: Beijing (B/L/SD)
Explore the heart of Beijing from Tian’anmen Square – the largest public square in the world. Then visit the Forbidden City, standing as the largest existing ancient architectural complex in China, it will be sure to amaze you. In the afternoon you will visit the Wangfujing shopping area and the historic Chinese medicine centre – “Tong Ren Tang”. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Peking Duck Dinner.
Day 4: Beijing (B/L/D)
Spend an inspiring day at the Great Wall (Juyong Pass). Enjoy your walk along its ramparts, and absorb the breathtaking views. Then tour around the Summer Palace for an enchanting panorama of lake, landscape, pagodas, and pavilions. On the way back, have a closer look at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Stadium (the Bird’s Nest & the Water Cube). Enjoy a dazzling Beijing Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Day 5: Beijing – Day at leisure (B)
Today is free for you to explore Beijing. Lunch and dinner are on your own.
Day 6: Beijing – Xian (By High-Speed Train) (B/L)
This morning, take a Rickshaw Tour around the ancient alleyways of Hutong – one of Beijing’s 700-year-old traditional cottage neighborhoods. You can visit a family in one of the “Quadrangles”. After lunch, you will have a very special experience on the China High Speed Train from Beijing to Xi’an. Dinner on your own on the train.

Day 7: Xian (B/L/WD)
Visit the historic Little Goose Pagoda and Big Goose Pagoda Square. Then visit Xi’an City Wall, which represents one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Chinese city walls. After lunch, visit Muslin Quarter Street, a famous food street where you can try all kinds of local food. Xi’an Night Tour after dinner.
Day 8: Xian (B/L/SD)
Another unforgettable full day tour begins with the excavation of more than 6,000 Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Reproduction Factory on the way. For lunch, enjoy the Handmade Noodle as you watch a noodle-making show. Learn to make dumplings. Tonight, enjoy the well-known Xi’an Special Dumpling Banquet as you experience the brilliant Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 9: Xian – Yichang – Yangtze River Cruise (By Air) (B/L/D)
This morning flight to Yichang visit Yichang Museum and Riverside Park. After lunch, board the deluxe 5-star cruise ship MV Century Oasis to catch the splendid and amazing moment along the Yangtze River. Dinner on the cruise.

Day 10: Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
A shore excursion at Sandouping takes you to “Three Gorges Dam”, the biggest hydroelectric dam in the world. Return to the ship and set sail for the first gorge – Xiling Gorge, the longest and the most hazardous one in the famous “Three Gorges”. Early evening, enjoy a Captain’s Welcome Reception in the lounge.
Day 11: Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Begin your day with an excursion to Shennv Stream. Return to the cruise ship again and set sail through the second gorge – Wu Gorge, known for its odd, misty rock formations and its backdrop of soaring mountains. Later in the afternoon, you will pass the third gorge – Qutang Gorge, the shortest but the most dramatic of the Gorges with ancient relics scattered along its steep cliffs. Enjoy a Crew Cabaret Talent Show at night.
Day 12: Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Morning can practice tai Chi with a professional trainer on the sun deck. Afternoon arriving in Fengdu, enjoy a shore excursion to visit Fengdu Ghost City, known for the culture of ghost and integrating of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism with diverse of Chinese traditions. Enjoy an Evening Show with the Crew at night.
Day 13: Arriving Chongqing (B/L)
After breakfast, disembark the cruise at Chongqing. You will have a city tour in Chongqing including Chongqing Zoo to see lovely Pandas and Huguang Guild Hall, a 200-year old architectural complex. Special Sichuan Style Lunch will be served. Free afternoon or an optional tour to enjoy the fantastic Chongqing by Night with Hot Pot Dinner. (The optional tour and dinner cost is US$50.00 p.p pay locally)

Day 14: Chongqing ~ Dazu ~ Chongqing (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to Dazu County (2 hrs drive). Visit World Culture Heritage – Baodingshan Rock Carvings. The carvings on the Baoding Mountain are the largest in scale, richest in content and most refined in artistic skill. In 1st December 1999, it was listed as a world cultural heritage site by UNESCO. On the way back to hotel, you will visit Ciqikou Ancient Town. It shows you traditional Chinese architecture as well as give you a chance to sample delicious local snacks. You will also witness Liziba monorail passing through the building.
Day 15: Chongqing – Shanghai (by Air) – Suzhou (B/D)
Take a flight to Shanghai. China’s most populous city and seaport. Take an excursion to Zhujiajiao (Water Village) and take a ride to Suzhou, a city famous for its canals, stone bridges, and pagodas.

Day 16: Suzhou (B/L/SD)
Explore Suzhou Museum and the Lingering Garden ( an UNESCO World Heritage Site ). Tour the Pingjiang Road, a historical street that is located in the northeastern Suzhou ancient city. The length of this road is 1,606 meters which has been recorded since the Song Dynasty. Tonight, enjoy a China Farewell Dinner.
Day 17: Suzhou – Shanghai (B/L/D)
After breakfast, return to Shanghai. You will visit the Xin Tian Di – replica of Old Shanghai, Shanghai Museum and People’s Square. You will be amazed at the beauty of historical architecture while walking along the “Bund”. Then tour Yuyuan Bazaar. You will visit Pudong Development Zone, a close look at the famous Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Visit the famous Nanjing Road shopping street. Huangpu River Night Cruise could be arranged as an optional tour at night ( US$50.00 pp pay locally ).
