Day 1: Depart Canada

Fly with Air China to Beijing from Vancouver. Meet your Canadian Tour Leader and start your worry-free vacation.

Day 2: Beijing 
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. Your local guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax or explore Beijing at your leisure.

Day 3: Beijing (B/L/SD)
Start the day at Tian’anmen Square, then delve into the majestic Forbidden City. Explore the Wangfujing shopping area and the historic Chinese medicine center, “Tong Ren Tang”. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Peking Duck Dinner.

Day 4: Beijing (B/L/D)
Explore Suzhou Museum, Lingering Garden (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and historic Pingjiang Road. Return to Shanghai for your flight to Yichang and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5: Beijing – Xian (By High-Speed Train) (B/L)
This morning, take a Rickshaw Tour around the ancient alleyways of Hutong – one of Beijing’s 700-year-old traditional cottage neighborhoods. You can visit a family in one of the “Quadrangles”. After lunch, you will have a very special experience on China High-Speed Train from Beijing to Xi’an. Dinner on your own on the train.

Day 6: Xian (B/L/WD)
Visit the historic Little Goose Pagoda and Big Goose Pagoda Square, followed by a tour of the ancient Xian City Wall. Enjoy lunch at Muslin Quarter Street, renowned for its local delicacies. Xi’an Night Tour after dinner.

Day 7: Xian (B/L/SD)
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses excavation site and enjoy a noodle-making show and Handmade Noodle lunch. In the evening, enjoy the Xi’an Special Dumpling Banquet alongside the Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 8: Xian – Yichang – Yangtze River Cruise (By Air) (B/L/D)
This morning fly to Yichang to visit Yichang Museum and Riverside Park before boarding the 5-star MV Century Oasis Cruise Ship for a journey along the Yangtze River.

Day 9: Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Explore the Three Gorges Dam with a shore excursion at Sandouping. Sail through Xiling Gorge and enjoy a Captain’s Welcome Reception in the lounge.

Embark on an excursion to Shennv Stream before sailing through the misty rock formations of Wu Gorge and the dramatic cliffs of Qutang Gorge. Enjoy a Crew Cabaret Talent Show in the evening.

Day 11: Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Practice Tai Chi on the sun deck in the morning before exploring Fengdu Ghost City, renowned for its cultural heritage. Enjoy an Evening Show with the Crew at night

Day 12: Arriving Chongqing (B/L)
Disembark in Chongqing for a city tour, including a visit to the Chongqing Zoo to see Pandas and the Huguang Guild Hall. Indulge in a special Sichuan-style lunch. Enjoy a free afternoon or an optional tour to enjoy the fantastic Chongqing by Night with Hot Pot Dinner. (US$50.00 pp, pay locally).

Day 13: Chongqing ~ Dazu ~ Chongqing (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive to Dazu County (2 hrs) to visit the UNESCO-listed Baodingshan Rock Carvings, renowned for their scale and artistry. Return to the hotel via Ciqikou Ancient Town to explore traditional architecture, enjoy local snacks, and see the Liziba monorail passing through a building.

Day 14: Chongqing – Shanghai (by Air) – Suzhou (B/D)
Fly to Shanghai. Take an excursion to Zhujiajiao (Water Village) and take a ride to Suzhou, a city famous for its canals, stone bridges, and pagodas.

Day 15: Suzhou (B/L/SD)
Explore Suzhou Museum, Lingering Garden (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and historic Pingjiang Road. Tonight, enjoy the China Farewell Dinner

Day 16: Suzhou – Shanghai (B/L/D)
After breakfast, return to Shanghai. You will visit the Xin Tian Di, Shanghai Museum, People’s Square, the “Bund”, and Yuyuan Bazaar. Then visit Pudong Development Zone, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, and the Nanjing Road Shopping Street. The Huangpu River Night Cruise could be arranged as an optional tour at night.
