Canadians must present a valid passport to visit Indonesia.
Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the date of entry into Indonesia and must contain at least one blank page for the placement of the Indonesian visa.

Travelers can obtain a Visa on Arrival at select points of entry.
The current cost is IDR 500,000 (Indonesian Rupiah), approximately CA$45.00.

Immigration officers can verify your Visitor Visa on their system. However, you are advised to keep your Visitor Visa either as a soft copy (tablet PC, smartphone, etc.) or a hard copy if there is any failure on their system and you are required to bring proof of payment of your e-visa

Travelers must complete an Electronic Customs Declaration before departure to Indonesia and present the completed form with the QR code to the Customs Officer.

As of February 14, 2024, all inbound foreign tourists are required to pay Bali’s Foreign Tourist Fee. The current cost is IDR 150,000 (Indonesian Rupiah), approximately CA$14.00.
The payment can be made online before arrival or at the payment counter available at a port of entry in Bali. Travelers will receive proof of payment with a QR Code sent via email.
