The dance expresses the eternal fight between good and evil spirits and ends with the magical Keris (dagger) dance. Then we will proceed to the Village of Kemenuh to visit the talented Balinese woodcarving artists in their traditional workshops. You will see how they carve beautiful statues and works of art from a single block of wood. The journey then continues to Kintamani to view the breathtaking Lake Batur and the active volcano called Mount Batur (1,730 meters). Here is an opportunity for you to have lunch with an amazing view. Our next destination is Tampaksiring, ‘The Fountain of Youth” and Holy Spring.

Further on you will have the opportunity to see the monkeys at the Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest. The forest mainly consists of nutmeg trees, and is the habitat of fruit bats (Flying Foxes) and 3 big monkey families. Have your camera ready to take photos of the spectacular sunset at the enchanting Tanah Lot Temple, built on a rocky outcrop in the Indian Ocean just a few meters offshore. It is Bali’s most sacred and highest volcano and its last eruption was in 1963. Built on one of the volcano’s slopes, the Besakih Temple Complex is the most important and sacred temple for the Balinese Hindu community. For this reason it is known as the “Mother Temple”. At Bukit Jambul, we will stop for a refreshing view over the beautiful valley and the opportunity for lunch. On our way through the east of Bali you will discover the traditional village of Penglipuran. This village is unique for its different social community structure and layout, which dates back to the 16th century.
