Day 1: Depart Canada
Fly to Brisbane
Day 2: Arrive Brisbane
Upon arrival to Brisbane, take your private transfer to your hotel and check in, where you will spend the next four nights.
Enjoy your day at leisure to explore the stunning harbour, cultural life, dynamic food scene and vibrant cityscape of the city, as well as its outstanding contemporary and colonial architecture.
Day 3: Brisbane
Make your way to the Cultural Centre Public Pontoon for your early morning meet up with your group to visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and to enjoy a river cruise on the way back.
Enjoy the informative commentary from your captain as you glide along Brisbane’s waterfront. You’ll also have three hours to explore the world’s largest koala sanctuary and see platypuses up close.
Return to hotel and enjoy the rest of the day your way.
Day 4: Brisbane – Tangalooma (L)
Meet the group for an excursion to Tangalooma, where you enjoy a cruise along the Moreton Bay Region’s protected marine park. Motor along the bay in a pontoon boat with a knowledgeable guide and catch a glimpse of the marine life beneath the surface.
Return to hotel and spend the rest of your day at leisure.
Day 5: Brisbane at Leisure
Enjoy the day exploring the city at a leisurely pace.
Day 6: Brisbane – Lamington National Park
Check out of your hotel and pick up the car rental to drive to the Lamington National Park. Check into the hotel for two nights.
Day 7: Lamington National Park
All aboard the four-wheel-drive bus for a guided rainforest tour to the mystical Glow Worm Experience! Perch yourself beside the secluded gully, home to millions of ancient glow worms illuminating the cliff face in a blanket of twinkling stars.
Keep your eyes peeled for other nocturnal dwellers such as pademelons, possums, bandicoots, frogs, insects and even a carpet python or a Lamington spiny crayfish (if you’re lucky)! Torches are required on this evening tour.
Day 8: Lamington National Park – Gold Coast
Check out of your hotel and head to the Gold Coast for the following two nights.
The Gold Coast is a modern city of glittering high-rise buildings built around superb beaches, including the world renowned ‘Surfers Paradise’.
Dive into the lively nightlife nearby, international theme parks, and designer boutiques. Experience the opulent Palazzo Versace or head to the hinterland for rainforest walks and spa retreats.
Day 9: Gold Coast at Leisure
Continue exploring the region at your own pace.
Day 10: Gold Coast – Brisbane
Check out of your hotel and make your way back to Brisbane, where you will check into an airport hotel for the evening.
Day 11: Brisbane
Return your rental car at the airport and board your flight back to Canada.
