Day 1: Canada – Night on board
Arrive at your Canadian departure airport ready to check-in for a flight to Nairobi. Night on board*.
*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.
Day 2: Nairobi
Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day off in the dynamic capital of Kenya, known as “the Green City in the Sun”. We recommend visiting the National Museum or one of the many markets for a taste of the local culture. Overnight stay in Nairobi.
You will have the option to add early check-in on arrival in the next step of the booking process. To guarantee optional services, we recommend that you add them to your current booking, as they are subject to availability.
Day 3: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Commence your drive to the shores of Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, depart for a 1h boat ride, an opportunity to appreciate the expansive bird life inhabiting the lake as well as close encounters with numerous hippo families colonizing the Lake. You can also participate in our optional visit to Crescent Island*. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Lake Naivasha.
*Optional Tour: Visit to Crescent Island: Embark on an unforgettable adventure at Crescent Island in Kenya. Start with a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha, then enjoy a captivating walking safari amidst giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha (B/L/D)
Full-board. Begin with breakfast at the lodge. Today you have a free day to enjoy the magical setting. You can choose from two optional activities: a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park* or a visit to a Fruits and Vegetables Farm and Pizza Baking in Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary**. Enjoy lunch and dinner at the lodge before your overnight stay in Lake Naivasha.
*Optional Tour: Visit to Hell’s Gate National Park: Go on a morning or afternoon visit to Hell’s gate National Park, where you will enjoy a bit of game viewing while walking or biking. Then head to the Geothermal Hot Spa for a relaxing soak in this “natural spa”.
**Optional Tour: Visit to a Fruits and Vegetables Farm and Pizza Baking in Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary: Learn how the farm keeps their veggies organic and pest free and how they work with nature to ensure rich and fertile soil to keep growing the vegetables and fruits, you can even pick some strawberries which you can enjoy as you and your little one indulge in a little culinary experience. Bake some bread or help your young ones make their own lunch with mini pizzas.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara National Reserve (B/L/D)
Full-board. After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving along the Rift Valley floor, via Mai Mahiu and Narok Town. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game viewing drive, culminating in dinner and overnight at Maasai Mara.
Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve (B/L/D)
Full-board. This could be your lucky day, with a chance to sight the Big Five on an incredible safari adventure! You have two options: either break up the day with separate morning and afternoon sessions, returning to the lodge for a sit-down lunch in between, or spend the full day on safari with a picnic lunch out on the savannah. Discover the untamed beauty of Kenya and create unforgettable memories in the heart of nature. Overnight stay in Maasai Mara.
Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi – Mombasa (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel and return to Nairobi. Arrive and transfer to Nairobi SGR station for your afternoon train to Mombasa. Arrive in Mombasa, meet your guide and transfer to your resort to enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure, enjoying the idyllic beaches and facilities. Dinner and overnight stay in Mombasa.
Day 8: Mombasa (B/D)
Half-Board. Make the most of a free day to enjoy the paradise beaches of Mombasa. You can take the day to relax on the beach or make the most of the incomparable hotel facilities*. Be sure to enjoy dinner at the resort! Overnight stay in Mombasa.
*Additional activities such as watersports are not included and will need to be paid for directly at the hotel.
Day 9: Mombasa (B/D)
Half-Board. Another day in paradise to enjoy the crystal-clear shores. We recommend you try snorkeling as the clear water allows you to enjoy watching the lively and colorful marine life*. Dinner and overnight stay in Mombasa.
*Additional activities such as watersports are not included and will need to be paid for directly at the hotel.
Day 10: Mombasa – Night on board (B)
Breakfast at the resort*. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Canada. Night on board**.
*Depending on the return flight schedule and the hotel breakfast service, you may not be able to enjoy the included breakfast on the last day.

Day 4: Fruits & Vegetable Farm Visit + Baking & Pizza Baking

- Important Notes
- Please consult your doctor regarding the vaccination against yellow fever and malaria prophylaxis. Carry your international immunization card. Travelers over 60 years must consult their doctor as the Yellow Fever vaccine can have serious side effects.
- Roads in Kenya can be quite bumpy and are not in great condition, particularly those found in the country’s national parks. People who suffer with back problems should consider this before participating in a trip of this nature.
- The safari takes place in a vehicle with space for seven passengers, with one passenger seated next to the driver. The luggage compartment of these vehicles is limited, so for the safety and comfort of all, each person may only carry one soft duffel bag of maximum 10kg. The rest of the luggage can be left in the Nairobi hotel storage room at no extra cost. It will be identified with a tag and will be collected on return from the safari.
- Travelers must bring their own refillable water bottles. Although there will be 500 ml reusable bottles for sale with a price of USD 10 each, the proceeds from which will be donated to entities dedicated to nature conservation.
- Booster seats: Not available in all destinations. Feel free to take your own if you need one.
- Room allocation: We will do our best to accommodate your family in the same room. If availability doesn’t permit this, we guarantee your family will be accommodated as close together as possible. Children will always be accommodated in a room with at least 1 adult.
- When booking a triple room, note that these accommodations are not larger than a double room, but will include either one double or two single beds and a sofa bed/rollaway.
