Day 1: Canada – Night on board
Arrival at your Canadian departure airport ready to check-in for your flight* to Johannesburg. Night on board.
*If your outbound flight leaves at dawn (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the selected departure day.
Day 2: Johannesburg
Arrive in Johannesburg International Airport and take the shuttle bus* to the hotel. The next day, a transfer will pick you up at the hotel to start your journey to Kruger National Park.
Depending on the time of your flight arrival, spend the rest of the day at your leisure exploring the city and its diverse and vibrant neighborhoods. Immerse yourself in the lively food scene and pop-up eateries.
The city is a real cultural hub and a great place to catch live music performances, so why not head and indulge in trendy bars and restaurants and soak up the atmosphere. Overnight stay in Johannesburg.

Day 3: Johannesburg – Mpumalanga – Kruger (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you’ll embark on a scenic drive* from Johannesburg to the Kruger area, where you’ll experience the diverse beauty of South Africa’s landscapes. As you leave Johannesburg, the bustling city gradually gives way to the tranquil Highveld. Approaching the Kruger area, you’ll be greeted by the lush, vibrant scenery and the unique flora of the Lowveld. You’ll notice the shift from the cooler highlands to the warm, subtropical climate, setting the stage for the exciting safari adventure that awaits you. Overnight stay in Kruger region.

Important: Please note that the total transfer time is approximately 5 to 6 hours, which includes one refreshment stop along the way. At this stop, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase food to take with you and use the restroom facilities.
Day 4: Kruger National Park (B/D)
Get ready for an excitement-filled day, as you enjoy a full-day 4×4 Game Drive at Kruger National Park.
Enjoy breakfast on the go as you begin the day early on a sunrise safari! Head to the southern area of South Africa’s most famous game reserve, the iconic Southern Circle, renowned for observing lions and rhinos. Around midday, stop for lunch (not included) at a designated vehicle rest stop that has a restaurant.
In the afternoon, discover the amazing diversity of animals in one of the world’s largest reserves, on a game drive through Kruger National Park. End your day with a well-deserved dinner and rest. Overnight stay in Kruger region.
Please note: bring comfortable shoes, a warm and rainproof jacket, sunhat, sun cream and a camera to capture the beautiful wildlife.
Day 5: Kruger National Park (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy today at leisure as you explore the beautiful natural landscapes of Kruger and White River independently. Why not join a guided bush walk, have a bite at one of the designated picnic spots or grab your binoculars and head out bird-watching.
We recommend an optional Full-Day Safari in Kruger National Park to experience more of its wildlife-rich ecosystems*. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Kruger region.
*Optional Full-Day Safari in Kruger National Park: Set off on an unforgettable excursion to explore the wilds of Kruger! Look out for the Big 5 as you take a slow drive through the national park. Home to elephants, buffalos, giraffes, impalas, zebras and, of course, lions, you’ve got a great chance to see various species up close. Packed lunch included.
Day 6: Kruger – Johannesburg – Cape Town (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. It’s time to head back to civilization today to continue with your South African experience. Transfer by road* back to Johannesburg, stopping to see the exterior of the Union Buildings in Pretoria, the official headquarters of the South African government.
Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Cape Town. This vibrant and picturesque city, located at the southwestern tip of South Africa, is known for its stunning natural beauty, diverse cultures, and rich history.
Arrive and transfer to your hotel for check in. Overnight stay in Cape Town.
*Note: The journey today takes approximately 7-8 hours by road and includes stops along the way for lunch (at own expense) and sightseeing. There will be no accompanying guide for this journey so take the opportunity to enjoy the passing landscapes as you travel through some of the most spectacular regions in South Africa.
Day 7: Cape Town (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy the hop on hop off bus ticket in Cape Town. It’s the best way to see the city independently, as you decide when to hop on and when to hop off the bus! With over 30 possible stops, pick your favorite attractions and move about the city at your own pace.
In the afternoon, take the Cableway and go up to Table Mountain to behold one of Africa’s most breathtaking views. Enjoy incredible sights across the city, coastline, and surrounding landscapes. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Cape Town.
Day 8: Cape Town (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, the day is yours to continue discovering the city independently. Why not head to one of the many museums, explore Cape Point or Kirstenbosch, South Africa’s flagship botanical garden.
We recommend the optional Cape Winelands excursion* to the renowned wine-producing region in South Africa, known for its picturesque landscapes, historic vineyards, and world-class wines. Overnight stay in Cape Town.

Day 9: Cape Town (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy another free day today, where you can continue discovering the city at your own pace. If you want to make the most out of your trip, we recommend the optional full-day tour of Cape Peninsula, a paradise of vineyards, coastal seal and penguin colonies!* Overnight stay in Cape Town.
*Optional full-day Cape Peninsula excursion: Enjoy the delights of Cape Peninsula including; Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno and the amazing Twelve Apostles. Pass through Noordhoek and observe local ostriches before visiting the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. Day 10: Cape Town – Mauritius (B)
Breakfast* at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to the Cape Town airport to catch your flight to your next destination: Mauritius. Arrive and transfer in a private vehicle to the hotel.
This island paradise is renowned for its crystalline waters, idyllic white sand beaches and exotic vegetation. Get settled in and if time allows begin exploring the area. Overnight stay in Mauritius.

Day 11: Mauritius (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you can choose to spend the day at your leisure, enjoying the beach or exploring the island independently. Alternatively, if you’re a nature-lover, we recommend taking part in an optional full-day catamaran cruise*, to admire Mauritius’ beautiful surroundings.
Or, if you want to soak up more of its culture, how about our optional Port-Louis excursion** to discover the capital city and thriving commercial center. Overnight stay in Mauritius.
*Optional full-day Catamaran Cruise to Île aux Cerfs: Cruise along the east coast while sipping on freshly-made drinks. Heading towards the waterfalls of the southeast to snorkel and swim! Spend the afternoon at Île aux Cerfs, and then cruise back to the jetty of Preskil Island Resort. Pure bliss!
**Optional Port-Louis Excursion: founded by the French Governor François Mahé de Labourdonnais in 1735. See historical monuments such as: The Robert Edward Hart Garden, Marie Reine de la Paix, St James Cathedral, Port-Louis theater among many others. Check out the buzzing central market and head to the Caudan Waterfront and find a wide selection of crafts and jewelry.

Day 12: Mauritius (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is your last day in Mauritius! Take part in the full-day Curepipe, Grand Bassin, Plaine Champagne, and Chamarel excursion. Enjoy the fresh air and panoramic view from the top of “Trou Aux Cerfs”, a 700,000 year-old extinct volcano.
Quick stop in Curepipe’s town center to visit a ship model factory and enjoy a spot of shopping. Before lunch, head to Grand Bassin, a sacred lake for pilgrims of the Hindu community. Only a stone’s throw from this mystical site are the Black River Gorges, Mauritius’ largest nature reserve.
Finally head to the village of Chamarel to discover the Seven Coloured Earths, an astounding and beautiful geological formation where the mounds are naturally different colours. Overnight stay in Mauritius.
Day 13: Mauritius – Night on board (B)
Breakfast* at the hotel. It’s time to bid farewell to the magical Indian Ocean island nation of Mauritius. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for a flight back to the Canada. Night on board.

- You must choose between either the Gastronomic Package or the Adventure Package. It is not possible to do both.
- Entry requirements
- Your passport must be valid for at least 30 days beyond the date you expect to leave South Africa. Your passport must contain at least 2 empty visa pages for the necessary South African Temporary Residence Permit.
- Visa not required for stays up to 90 days.
- Important Notes
- Vaccinations against Tetanus and Hepatitis are recommended. Please consult your doctor regarding malaria prophylaxis.
- This is not a fully guided tour. You will be accompanied by a guide during the Kruger National Park safari only and during any optional excursions if you choose to take them. English skipper during the sea optional activities in Mauritius.
- Travelling with children (up to 12 years old) is by request. The room will have an extra bed in place. Supervision of and activities for children are available upon request as well.
- Travellers are advised to carry cash to pay for any extras in Mauritius. Mauritian Rupees are the main currency, and it is recommended to exchange foreign currencies at the airport on arrival. Credit cards are accepted.
- Tips are not included. Although tipping is not mandatory, we highly recommend an average of 10 USD per day per person for the guide as well as for the driver. Keep in mind that tipping is an important part of Mauritian culture and customary in this line of work.
- You may upgrade to the luxury category, which features an all-inclusive experience at the resort. You can also upgrade to half-board by adding 3 dinners. Contact us for more details!
- While on the road, it is highly unlikely that the vehicle will be equipped with WIFI or bathroom facilities, though rest stops will be made for long trips. We recommend purchasing a new SIM card at the airport or placing an e-SIM before travel to guarantee internet connection.
