Upon arrival in Istanbul, and after immigration and luggage collection, you will be greeted by an English-speaking guide waiting for you at Gate 8. Your representative will help you coordinate meeting with your private driver and accompany you to your accommodation.

Day 4: Istanbul to Cappadocia

This afternoon explore the ancient art of Cappadocian pottery as you set out with your private guide and driver to the historic town of Avanos for a one-hour hands-on workshop. Delve into Turkey’s rich ceramic tradition dating back to 2000 BC, during the Hittites period. Begin with a warm welcome at a family-owned pottery studio, where you’ll be greeted with traditional tea before witnessing a captivating demonstration. Then, roll up your sleeves and try your hand at the wheel to see how well you can replicate the masters techniques! Afterward, wander through the showroom adorned with magnificent ceramic works, reflecting centuries of artisanal heritage. Admire the studio’s decorative pottery pieces such as vases, bowls, and plates all adorned with vibrant colors and intricate motifs. You’ll witness the intricate craft and techniques that go into painting these works of art, and can try your hand with the brush as well. Day 5: Cappadocia

There is simply no better way to experience Cappadocia and its extraordinary landscapes than from aboard a hot air balloon. Early this morning, meet your private driver for a transfer to the launch site where you’ll join fellow adventure seekers and get an opportunity to appreciate one of the most poetic sunrises of your lifetime. Energize on a light complimentary breakfast while your crew completes the necessary preparations before take-off. Once everyone is on board, your balloon will raise slowly into the morning sky and the magnificent vistas of Cappadocia immediately unfold in front of your eyes.
