Claire’s Top Attractions for Maui

AUTH-GENERAL-HAWAII-WAVE

Drive the Road to Hana – This scenic drive along the coast offers gorgeous views including black-sand beaches, lush jungles and waterfalls. It takes about 2 ½ hours with no stops. But be prepared because there are about 620 curves – so it makes for a windy trip.

Haleakala National Park & Crater – In the south of Maui, the park has one of the most amazing volcanic craters in the world, as well as a beautiful section of the Maui coastline.

Lahaina– Once the capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom in the early 19th century, it was also a whaling village in the mid-1800s. This historic town is now a Maui hot spot with shopping, galleries and restaurants.

Paia – In this charming town on Maui’s North Shore you can go shopping in eclectic boutiques or take a leisurely meal  in one of the cafes. For those more adventurous – go kayaking, scuba diving, surfing and more.
