Day 1 Canada to Shanghai
Your adventure will begin with a flight to Shanghai. Start your worry-free vacation with the guidance of our Canadian Tour Leader

Day 2 Arriving Shanghai
Cross the International Date Line and arrive in Shanghai, China’s most populous city and seaport. You will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to hotel to rest for the adventures set for the next day.

Day 3  Shanghai
After breakfast, explore Shanghai Museum and the People’s Square and along the “Bund”, then tour the Yuyuan Bazaar, Pudong Development Zone, and take a closer look of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Visit the famous shopping street, Nanjing Road. Huangpu River Night Cruise could be arranged as an optional tour at night. (B/L/D)

Day 4  Shanghai ~ Zhujiajiao (Water Village) ~ Suzhou
Today, visit the XinTianDi – replica of Old Shanghai. Take an excursion to Zhujiajiao (Water Village). Take a ride to Suzhou, a city famous for its canals, stone bridges, and pagodas. Enjoy a China Welcome Dinner.  (B/L/SD)

Day 5: Suzhou
Explore the Suzhou Museum, and Lingering Garden, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a Suzhou Canal Cruise. Visit the Xumen Gate, and a silk factory. Experience the city nightlife with a Suzhou Night Tour, the Venice of the Orient. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Suzhou ~ Shanghai/Wuhan ~ Yichang ~ Yangtze River Cruise
Today, you will have a very special experience of China High Speed Train from Suzhou to Shanghai to connect to your flight to Yichang. In the evening, board the deluxe cruise ship MV President No.7/8 to catch every splendid and amazing moment along the Yangtze River. (B/L/D)

Day 7 Yangtze River Cruise
Take a shore excursion at Sandouping takes you to “Three Gorges Dam”, the biggest hydroelectric dam in the world. Return to the ship and set sail for the first gorge -Xiling Gorge, the longest and the most hazardous one in the famous “Three Gorges”. Tonight, enjoy a Captain’s Welcome Dinner. (B/L/SD)

Day 8 Yangtze River Cruise
Begin your day with an excursion to Shennong Stream, which takes you almost 20 miles of cascading waterfalls, steep cliffs, karst caves, three-colored springs. Return to the cruise ship again and set sail through the second gorge – Wu Gorge, known for its odd, misty rock formations and its backdrop of soaring mountains. Later in the afternoon, you will pass the third gorge – Qutang Gorge, the shortest but the most dramatic Gorges with ancient relics scattered along its steep cliffs. Enjoy a Crew Cabaret Show at night. (B/L/D)

Day 9 Yangtze River Cruise
After breakfast, take a shore excursion to visit the Shibaozhai Temple, a gem of Chinese Architecture located in Zhong County, at the south bank of the Yangtze River. Enjoy Captain’s Farewell Banquet followed by a Gathering Party at night. (B/L/D)

Day 10 Arriving Chongqing
After breakfast, disembark the cruise at Chongqing. You will have a city tour in Chongqing including Chongqing Zoo for lovely Pandas and People’s Square. After Lunch, transfer to hotel for free afternoon or add an optional tour to enjoy the fantastic Chongqing by Night with Hot Pot dinner. Day 11 Chongqing / Xi’an

Day 12 Xi’an
Another unforgettable full day tour begins with the excavation of more than 6,000 Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Reproduction Factory on the way. Day 13 Xi’an
Visit the historic Little Goose Pagoda and Big Goose Pagoda Square and a jade workshop. After lunch, visit Xi’an’s Muslim Quarter Market. Tonight enjoy a Western Dinner with unlimited Beer.  After dinner, enjoy a Xian Night Tour.    (B/L/WD)

Day 14 Xi’an – Beijing
Take a morning flight to Beijing, the Capital of China. Take a Rickshaw Tour around the ancient alleyways of Hutong – one of Beijing’s 700-year-old traditional cottage neighbourhoods. You can visit a family in one of the “Quadrangles”. Then, visit a pearl workshop. Enjoy a dazzling Beijing Acrobatic Show in the evening. (B/L/D)

Day 15 Beijing
Spend an inspiring day at the Great Wall (Juyong Pass). Enjoy your walk along its ramparts, and absorb the breath-taking views. Then tour around the Summer Palace for an enchanting panorama of lake, landscape, pagodas, and pavilions. On the way back, have a closer look at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Stadium (the Bird’s Nest & the Water Cube), and visit a tea house en route. (B/L/D)

Day 16 Beijing
Explore the heart of Beijing from Tian’anmen Square – the largest public square in the world. Standing as the largest existing ancient architectural complex in China, the Forbidden City will be sure to amaze you. In the afternoon you will visit the Wangfujing shopping area and famous Chinese medicine centre – “Tong Ren Tang”, over 300 years history in Beijing. Tonight, enjoy a Farewell Peking Duck Dinner.   (B/L/SD)

Day 17 Beijing / Hometown (via Shanghai)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to depart for Canada, and arrive home on the same day.  (B)
