Day 1: Canada – Night on board
Excited to discover the history, food, and culture of southern Italy together with your family? Pack up the car and head to your departure airport, ready for a flight to the seaside city of Naples*. Night on board.

*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.

Day 2: Naples
Land in Naples and go through customs. Your driver will meet you and your family at the airport for your transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to rest or explore the city together: whatever the family feels like!
Why not take this time to try some genuine Neapolitan pizza, or grab a quick gelato as you admire the ornate architecture? Overnight stay in Naples.

Day 3: Naples – Ischia (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, catch a ferry together to the nearby island of Ischia. Spend the rest of the day exploring or relaxing by the hotel pool on this tiny Mediterranean jewel! For the rest of your stay in Ischia, you’ll have half-board accommodation with both breakfast and dinner included. Enjoy your first dinner and overnight stay in Ischia.

Day 4: Ischia (B/D)
Half-board at the hotel. Gather up the family and set off for a boat tour of the waters around this magnificent island, where you’ll make fun stops including: Monte Vico Hill, Villa Colombaia, Chiesa del Soccorso, the bays of San Montano, Citara and Sorgeto before seeing the Grotta del Mago and the Aragonese Castle of Ischia from the water.

You’ll then have some free time to wander the village of Sant’Angelo, where you can go shopping, sightseeing, or for a quick dip at the nearby beach. Overnight stay in Ischia.

Day 5: C Ischia (B/D)
Half-board at the hotel. Enjoy the full day to spend as you like with your family. Take this time to discover Ischia’s array of beaches; from tourist favorites on the northern coast to hidden gems in the south. If you’d rather stay dry, why not join our optional excursion to the nearby Castello Aragonese*? Overnight stay in Ischia.

*Optional excursion to the Castello Aragonese: Known as Ischia’s most prominent landmark, this ancient castle actually lies on a small islet connected to the main island by a causeway. Explore the long history of the castle, stretching back to Roman times, and enjoy the stunning views over the Gulf of Naples.
Important: This tour operates only on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Day 6: Ischia (B/D)
Half-board at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring or relaxing by the sea on this tiny Mediterranean jewel! Alternatively, we recommend taking part in our optional excursion to Procida*, known for its extra large and sweet lemons. It’s the perfect way to acquaint yourself with another one of the Phlegrean Islands off the coast of Naples or opt to take part in a half-day bus tour of the island** where you will discover some of its most treasured landmarks. Overnight stay in Ischia.

Please note: Due to time limitations, you will only be able to enjoy one of the optional activities listed below, so please pick the one you prefer.

*Optional excursion to Procida: Board a boat bound for Procida, where you’ll stop and go for a dip at various emblematic locations on the island, from Pozzo Vecchio, the filming location of the movie The Postman, to Marina Corricella and Terra Murate. Afterwards, stop by in town for a couple of hours to get to know Procida’s historical center where you can visit the Cathedral and the Palazzo d’Avalos.
Important: This tour operates only Wednesdays and Fridays.

**Optional Half-Day Bus Tour of Ischia: Embark on a low-impact excursion through Ischia, one of the best kept secrets of the Mediterranean. Admire all of the Island’s most coveted attractions including Lacco Ameno, the beaches of Forio, the historic center, Casamicciola Terme, Ischia Porto and the famous botanical garden, La Mortella, before visiting the charming little village of Ischia Ponte.
Important: This tour operates only on Wednesdays.

Day 7: Ischia (B/D)
Half-board at the hotel. Today is yours to explore Ischia with the whole family. Take this time to enjoy this stunning paradise together, take some pictures, and make lifelong memories.

Alternatively, we recommend taking part in our optional excursion to neighboring Capri* where you will discover the beauty of this glitzy island long visited by international celebrities. Overnight stay in Ischia.

*Optional Excursion to Capri: Hop on a motor boat to Capri, where you’ll explore the heart of the island on foot with the help of a local guide. Walk through the narrow streets of the historical center, the famous Piazzetta, and the southern coast. Later, enjoy some free time to further get to know Capri. You can choose to continue your quest by boat and unearth its surrounding caves or walk around the island at your family’s own pace.
Important: This tour operates only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Day 8: Ischia – Naples (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to the ferry bound for Naples. Arrive in Naples and transfer to your hotel for check-in. It’s your family’s last night in Italy, so be sure to take advantage! Learn how to make the Italian national dish, the icon of Naples, a delicious pizza! With the help of an expert chef, you will learn how to make a pizza from the dough to the sauce and toppings in this class appropriate for all ages. Your teacher will reveal trade secrets including the type of flour to use, which yeast to choose, the best tomato and finally which oil to opt for. Overnight stay in Naples.

Day 9: Naples – Canada (B)
Breakfast at the hotel*. Sadly, it’s time to bring your Italian family adventure to an end. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for your return flight back to Canada. Arrive in Canada and end your trip.

*Depending on the return flight schedule and the hotel breakfast service, you may not be able to enjoy the included breakfast on the last day.

**Depending on the return flight schedule, you may arrive in the US the next day and the total duration of the trip would be 10 days.

Day 5: Visit to the Castello Aragonese

Embark on a guided tour of the Castello Aragonese, one of Ischia’s oldest landmarks with a history that reaches back centuries as a defense against pirates and invaders.
What’s included: Transfers from/to the hotel, guide (who will meet in Castello), entrance tickets.

Day 6: Half-Day Excursion to Procida

Sail to nearby Procida to stop by and swim in the crystal-clear waters of some of the island’s most stunning locations including Pozzo Vecchio, Marina Corricella and Terra Murate before visiting the historical center.
What’s included: Transfer (A/R) from hotel to port, motorboat ticket ,taxi to Procida and guide.

Day 6: Half-Day Bus Tour of Ischia

Explore the beauty of Ischia in this bus tour where you will become acquainted with the Island’s top attractions including the Lacco Ameno, the historic center and the village of Ischia Monte, among others.
What’s included: Guide in the bus and transfer from/to hotel.

Day 8: Full-Day Excursion to Capri
