Day 1: Canada – Night on board
Ready to dive into the wonders of one of the greatest civilisations of all time and walk in the footsteps of the greats, from Socrates to Aristotle? Head to your departure airport, ready for a flight to Athens*, the Greek capital. Night on board.

*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.

Day 2: Athens
Touch down in Athens and transfer to the hotel in the heart of the city where you can soak up the hustle and bustle of this mega-metropolis. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. If time allows, explore the vibrant Athenian neighborhoods and sample delicious Greek cuisine. Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 3: Athens (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy a sightseeing guided tour of Athens. Begin in the center of the city. Visit Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the National library. See the Hadrian’s Arch, visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus and enjoy a quick stop at Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Modern Olympic Games were held in 1896.

Next, visit the magnificent Acropolis and witness the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally the world-famous Parthenon. Complete your tour with a visit to the Acropolis Museum, a modern architectural building where you can admire the architectural wonders of the classical era. Return to your hotel with the remainder of your day at leisure. Overnight stay in Athens.

Please note: At the Athens Acropolis, the terrain is quite uneven underfoot and includes a number of stairs. It may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.

Note: This activity can accommodate a maximum of 40 people, and visitors will have access to audio guides during the tour.

Day 4: Athens – Crete (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel*. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Heraklion, the bustling capital of Crete, Greece’s largest island. Arrive in Crete and transfer to your hotel.

Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure getting your first taste of Crete. If time allows, begin immersing yourself in the local culture and enjoying the harmonious blend of ancient history and modern vibrancy. Dinner and overnight stay in Crete.

*Depending on the flight schedule and the hotel breakfast service, you may not be able to enjoy the included breakfast. However, you can request a “breakfast box” during check-in to take with you.

Day 5: Crete (B/D)
Half board at the hotel. You have a free day to enjoy at your leisure on some of Crete’s stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters. Also, we recommend joining the optional sailing tour to Dia Island*. Overnight stay in Crete.

*Optional sailing tour to Dia Island: A day of fun at sea with the opportunity to relax, enjoy the views, do some snorkeling, and have lunch on the boat.

Day 6: Athens – Santorini (B/D)
Half board at the hotel. Today you’ll enjoy the Labyrinth Theme Park, the unique family entertainment destination of Crete! This is an original, interactive, and fun day for the whole family. It’s main attraction is the Labyrinth, suitable for travelers both young and old and perfect for discovering the myth of the Minotaur.

Also, the park has interactive extra activities such as mini-golf, electric quads for children, an eco-garden, a mini-farm, a pottery workshop… Overnight stay in Crete.

Important: Labyrinth Theme Park closes on Mondays.

Day 7: Crete (B/D)
Half board at the hotel. Another free day that you can use to experience unforgettable cultural activities related to music, dance and local cuisine. Also, you can join an optional visit to the Knossos Palace and Heraklion Museum*or to the Watercity waterpark**. Overnight stay in Crete.

Please note: Due to timings, you will only be able to enjoy one of the optional activities listed below, so please pick the one you prefer.

*Optional visit to the Knossos Palace and Heraklion: Explore the most famous landmark of Crete, the room of murals, the royal tombs, and the royal mansion that make Knossos the most significant token of a civilization that left such marks in history. The intricate structure of the palace corridors gave it the name Labyrinth, where, according to the myth, the legendary Minotaur used to live. Afterward, visit the Minoan Farm to try their products and wander their estate fully planted with Cretan herbs. Then, return to the city for a guided walk in the center of Heraklion and enjoy some free time before returning to the hotel. This activity is only available on Saturdays.

*Optional day at the Watercity waterpark: Experience a wide range of water games specially designed for families, tailored to the height of the child with total safety. Enjoy water playgrounds, a jacuzzi, slides, a 385-meter river, and numerous adult options to get the adrenaline pumping.

Day 8: Crete (B/D)

Half board at the hotel. A free day to continue soaking up the sun, swimming, and building sandcastles. Additionally, you can enjoy our optional tour to Spinalonga*. Overnight stay in Crete.

*Optional tour to Spinalonga: An opportunity to visit the bay and beach of Kolokitha by boat. Here, you’ll have plenty of time for swimming in the crystal-clear waters and tasting the BBQ served on board. Later, depart for the island of Spinalonga for a guided tour to discover its history as a hide-out for pirates, a fortress for the Venetians, and a settlement for the Turks. Then, head to Elounda by bus and enjoy an olive oil tasting before arriving in the city of Agios Nikolaos. Here, you’ll have some free time before returning to the hotel. This activity is only available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Day 9: Crete – Athens (B)
Breakfast at the hotel*. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Athens.

*Depending on the flight schedule and the hotel breakfast service, you may not be able to enjoy the included breakfast. However, you can request a “breakfast box” during the day before to take with you.

Day 10: Athens – Canada (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.* After an unforgettable journey through Athens and Crete, it’s time to bring your trip to a close. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for a flight back to Canada**.

Day 5: Sailing tour to Dia Island
(Vegetarian menus must be requested in advance. The minimum age requirement for this activity is 4 years old. Please be aware that the tour may be canceled due to weather conditions.)

Embark on a memorable day sailing from Heraklion to Dia, relishing the captivating Cretan waters, with your captain preparing a meal amidst scenic views, followed by a swim in a deserted cove.

Day 7: Visit to the Knossos Palace and Heraklion
(This tour involves walking on irregular, uneven, or inclined surfaces. It may be difficult to follow for people with physical disabilities. Remember to bring comfortable shoes and a hat. Only available on Saturdays)

Day 7: Day at the Watercity waterpark
(Adults can play in all slides, children can play only toddler and advanced games and all children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.)

Explore the beautiful park, relax by the pools, spend hours enjoying the exciting and thrilling water games and rides, or simply unwind under the sun. This is the perfect place to have fun regardless of age!

Day 8: Day tour to Spinalonga
Price: from $118 per person
Set sail from Elounda to Spinalonga. Continue to the picturesque bay of Kolokitha for a swim and onboard barbecue, concluding the day in Agios Nikolaos, where you can relax by the Lake of Voulismeni and explore local shops.
What’s included: Transfers from/to hotels or from/to the closest meeting point. BBQ lunch on board. The menu includes pork chop BBQ, Greek salad, feta cheese, bread, wine or soft drinks, and seasonal fruit.
Not included: Entrance fee to Spinalonga (approx. 20€ per person).
