Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Canada
Fly to Barcelona.
Day 2: Welcome to Barcelona
Upon arrival in Barcelona, take a private transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Hotel (7 nts): HCC Mont Blanc (3-star) or similar or upgrade to 4-star HCC St Moritz or similar
Day 3: Barcelona Sightseeing (B)
Today, explore Barcelona with the help of your one-day Hop-On Hop-Off bus pass.
Barcelona Hop-On Hop-Off Pass:
- Visit all the city’s highlights, stop throughout the day at major sites and take note of places you’ll revisit. The double-decker bus includes an audio guide and city map with detailed information about each stop. There are two routes available, and each one takes about two hours.
Today, enjoy a panoramic tour of Barcelona, followed by a visit to the Sagrada Familia. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
Barcelona Panoramic Tour and Sagrada Familia:
- Drive along Passeig de Gracia to see the incredible houses designed by renowned architect Antoni Gaudi, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera.
- Skip the line at Gaudi’s unfinished temple, the Sagrada Familia, the single and most important site in Barcelona.
Day 5: Barcelona at Leisure (B)
Take the day to explore Barcelona at leisure. Discover its excellent museums and restaurants, fantastic boutiques and vibrant nightlife.
Day 6: Barcelona – Montserrat Excursion (B)
In the afternoon, head out on a half-day excursion to the magnificent Montserrat, a nearby mountain range with spectacular views. Home to an ancient monastery and holy shrine, truly not to be missed.
Montserrat Excursion:
- Start with a picturesque drive up the mountain, and see the nearly 1,000-year-old monastery. Take a short walk to the monastery and enjoy magnificent views. Enjoy two hours in the Sanctuary of Montserrat, combining an orientation tour with some free time to see La Moreneta, the basilica, the museum, restaurants and shops.
Day 7 & 8: Barcelona at Leisure(B)
Enjoy two full days in the capital of Catalonia. Return to your favourite locations, explore the city’s art museums, shop at the Mercado de la Boqueria or stroll on La Rambla for some fresh air.
Day 9: Barcelona – Return to Canada (B)
After breakfast, take a private transfer to the airport and board your flight home.
